Ready
Complete induction, project familiarisation, access verification, governance setup and the first 30-day priorities before Day 1.
A large operational services organisation was preparing for a major billing transformation carrying significant integration, customer and release risk. MethodWerx designed a Testing as a Service model — one accountable Test Manager, three Test Analysts and Head of Consulting oversight — spanning mobilisation, planning, SIT, UAT, regression, cutover, hypercare and formal capability transfer.
A large operational services organisation was preparing for a major billing transformation with significant integration, customer and release risk. The programme required an independent testing capability that could mobilise quickly, provide transparent quality controls and flex across planning, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression, cutover and hypercare.
MethodWerx designed a Testing as a Service model centred on one accountable Test Manager, three Test Analysts and Head of Consulting oversight. The proposed 12-month engagement followed a Ready, Deliver and Embed structure, linking mobilisation, test planning, execution, release assurance and capability transfer.
The model was designed to protect billing transformation outcomes, create clear accountability for the quality story and formally transfer testing knowledge, artefacts and operating practices to the client before exit.
The organisation needed more than additional testing resources. It needed a coordinated service with clear accountability, flexible capacity and an evidenced transition to internal ownership.
Complete induction, project familiarisation, access verification, governance setup and the first 30-day priorities before Day 1.
Define the testing strategy, scope, estimates, traceability, governance and quality reporting for the billing programme.
Review requirements, develop cases and scripts, and verify environment and data readiness.
Coordinate SIT and regression, defect control, evidence, reporting, exit assessment, cutover validation and hypercare assurance.
Transfer strategies, plans, procedures, scripts, evidence and decisions through shadowing, documentation, coaching and formal sign-off.

“The squad model gave the programme a clear quality owner, independent release evidence and the flexibility to respond to delivery peaks. The structured transfer approach also ensured that testing knowledge and reusable assets remained within the organisation.”
